Moving again. New platform, new server, the same site.

This morning I finally switched to the new platform which was in the development for the last X months. Even though it's not near the completion yet, it should be more robust then the previous system.

I would like to ask everyone to comment here, or in the forums about any problems that you may have with the new system. anything that doesn't seem right would help to pin-point existing issues and improve the site.

Thanks!

Max,
Wow! The new platform looks awesome.

Thanks Wayne! Hey, I need your help. Can you tell me what exactly happened when you registered? Did you receive any email notifications? Confirmations? Approvals? Did you have to resubmit anything or file some kind of additional requests like "forgot your password"?
The new platform does look better, but I can't figure out how to submit my website Cornerstone Real Estate?

Thanks! I'll try to publish some video tutorials, but there is also FAQ at the top of each page. Basically, when you're logged in, you should have a "User Control Panel" on your left. Go to "Business Listings" and click "Submit New Listing" tab at the top of that page. Everything else is self-explanatory. Let me know how it goes.
The change looks really super great. :)

Thanks Glen! I'm still tweaking the server. The site was working really fast yesterday and this morning, but then, sometime in the afternoon it went down. I need to fine-tune memory usage.

You guys have done a great job with the re-design, best of all pages are still ranking higher. Sidney Manzo http://los-angeleshomes-forsale.com/

Thanks Sidney! I'm still working on it - tweaking this and that, adding new features, and the most complicated part - trying to set my server correctly so it runs faster... this been bothering for the last two weeks.
Did you notice an immediate change in SERPS when you changed platforms? I'm about to change mine and I'm afraid I will lose some rankings as a result. The last time I changed, my site dropped off all the SERPs for about 2 weeks.

This particular site lost a lot of traffic after the move. But keep in mind, - when I was moving I made some drastic changes including removing a few thousands of pages and reorganizing the whole structure of the site completely. I have moved 4 other sites, beside this one, to different platforms and all of them were very successful - the traffic and rankings only improved. I think we did have some declines for a few weeks, but after that everything was much better.
Max - have you any thoughts as to why you saw more traffic and rankings when you moved the 4 sites?

Glenn, I think I simply did a better job working on other sites since it was related to my full time job :) Plus those sites are much smaller in number of pages (comparing to this directory), so it was easier to make sure that the meta tags, internal linking structure and redirects were in place and no important things were missing.
