Point2Homes will show their property listings in GoogleBase and Trulia

The first time I saw Point2Homes implemented agents listings as RSS feeds binded together with Google Maps and Google Earth I was really impressed. What a great tool for real estate web sites! Today Inman news reports bigger step that Point2Homes takes to market their clients' web sites - drive more traffic and provide quality information to consumer through Google Base and Trulia. Sounds like a win-win situation for the marketers, agents and the consumer. I think that services like Trulia and Google Base will help to expand the syndication of property listings that are locked from the public access through the MLS. In the near future a lot of agents will be willing to advertise their properties that will be distributed through real estate networks utilizing RSS. Andy why not? Google Base is already showing over 500,000 listings and provides with comprehensive search and mapping solutions. I didn't pay much attention to Google Base (my mistake - I'll change it), but there was quite a buzz in real estate bloggs about Trulia and its great performance. RaincityGuide has great posts and discussions on Trulia.
