Default CNBC - On the Money

Last week my wife Jacqulyn was interviewed by Jane Wells of CNBC regarding the Las Vegas high rise condo market. The main portion aired yesterday, but they'll be showing sound bites of it all week. She picked Jacqui because of her serps position on google and the amount of information contained on her site.

Wow! This is really nice! Hopefully it will bring you a tonn of business and add to your credibility I think this kind of publicity is really good for small business. WTB, Matt from PhoenixHomes.com did also video interview for National Geographic about a month ago, but I'm not sure when it's going to be on the air.

That is cool.

I've been contacted by a couple different TV shows about Staging the renovated properties, but haven't actually got to the shooting yet. It would be great fun to Stage a couple projects and then see them on the tube!

Congratulations to Jacqui & Matt! So exciting!

I heard a couple of times from people that have pretty successful real estate sites that they were asked for an interview by local or national newspapers or TV shows and they rejected them. I think this is very good business exposure opportunity which might lead to new new business, new contact, new exposure. Don't pass on it guys!

She has been getting different media requests for about the last year. HGTV has asked her several times to be on House Hunters, but because of the way the show is, their timing was always terrible. A writer for the Continental in flight magazine interviewer her in April about the loft market. The article should be out this summer some time.

Exposure like this is be great to show on listing appointments. Something along the lines of hey look at how much national exposure I get...

I have been in our local paper twice in the last year and it is just an added item to show why you are the expert.

Exactly. I finally got the DVD of the interview yesterday, well at least most of it. They broke it up into different segments and showed it all week, so I'm still trying to get the rest of it and a release to re-play it on our website. Thought it would be a nice touch on her about page and high rise page. What do you all think?

I think this all provides great free exposure - this might bring some business indirectly. Also it creates really good credibility, even trust (if I can say so) which a lot of consumers don't have in real estate agents.

Charles, see if you can upload it into free video services (like Youtube)and tag it there and in other social bookmarking services with most obvious words that it can be found by. Who knows, may be you'll get something from there too.

Thought of that, but I have to have a copy right release from CNBC to re-air their broadcast. Big corporations are funny about certain things.
