Now this is something that's really bugging me.
Why does dreamweaver insist on only allowing for one space between the end of a sentence and the start of a new one? Since the day I learned how to type (waaaaaay before compters), I insert 2 spaces after a sentence. When DW doesn't do that, the text looks all crowded to me and it bugs me! Can I change that somehow? Master control panel or something?

In today's web, it is standard to only have once space after a period. But, if you insist, place this in the code where you want your extra space:

I'm from way back when also and find it difficult. But the internet and text message has changed how we communicate that is for sure. Abbreviations and limited punctuation and does anybody read what they wrote afterwards and check for errors(opps I'm guilty of that also).
I saw a thing on the news that in Japan over half the county citizens have cell phones more than any other country and they actually had to change the band width to adapt to this boom. They also said it has been proven that there is nobody in the world who can text message faster than a 13 year girl from Japan. I thought that was kinda funny! |

Oh spacing and writing is so much different nowadays, and with all the texting no one cares how and a lot don't even know the correct spelling or punctuations for most things. I'm okay with that as long as I know what is being said.
