Best Free HTML Editor?

I downloaded 'First page' and it looks like I can work with it for a while.

I wish it had some templates in it I could modify to suit me, rather then build them myself.

It's one of those things, I can see how I would improve something more easily then creating it from scratch.

Well I'm itching to get to it but I also wanted to ask a couple more things:

1. Anyone know of a site with some good free templates?
(yes I see the irony from my last post)

2. Should I be concerned, when I downloaded 'First Page' to my laptop my McAfee didn't care - but when I moved to my PC McAfee did and Microsoft warned my that ht tp://w ww.evrsoft.com/1stpage3.shtml was a suspected and reported phising site. I'm OK with this aren't I?

I actually downloaded #036 just to see if it's for real and sure enough - it is
Just search "Free HTML Templates" in Google
BTW, you can buy quite cheap very professionally done templates on Template Moster - I think they are all anywhere from $40 to $70 for non-exclusive copy. I'm sure non-exclusinve will be "more exclusive" than any template base web site providers out there lol

Don, it depends on the message... If there is a specific message you always can Google it and see what people already discussed online. I always do that.

I'm not overly concerned - yet about the message - but I could be if you or someone actually had information on it.

Googling is what I do to find out about everything - I hope to never have the FBI check on that

The template thing is a whole other issue, so many times I've clicked on something because it came up for what I was searching for - and it had little or nothing to do with it - or there was a hidden agenda behind it. Would you believe that

Thanks for the info - I'll check it out later - I got all excited last night when I thought I was on a free site and found a really cool template I liked - then noticed it was mine for $70, and the free ones looked more like the old Realtor.com templates - and they came with ads.

Anyway - the next issue I need to tackle is finding a good graphics editor / creator - Oh yeah - for free
