WOW, I can't seem to catch a break with AA or the search engines, but at least with the search engines my problems are probably self inflicted wounds that might heal.
I went through and found re directories that had the highest pr I could find and did the link exchange. = End result Not Good so far in serp, went down more. I removed links from directories that had dropped my listing - I'll need to watch this closer. End result - no change in serp Very recently added more 'city type pages' end result - just a little lower serp even though some were crawled 2 days ago. Paid to have in bound re directory links added at a rate of 5 per week to avoid the time box as much as possible - results so far - a little lower yet in serp. I was heading upward with the advice here for a short period - until Black Monday - from that point everything I do to help has hurt my serp. So any advice is of course welcomed - and it may all be something that time will heal and in the end all the things I am doing may actually help - but so far there has been no good news. What I wanted to know is if I place an iframe on my homepage - framing a page built especially for the link exchange re dir, will this be crawled as being part of my homepage - or is this idea not well thought out? Just trying to figure out a way to improve inbound vs outbound links shown on my homepage. Thanks

Give it a rest for awhile and sell some real estate.

Aside from adding a few more pages of the city type and taking a few more photos to add I had come to the same conclusion.
Do you want to make me a site too? ![]() |

Hey Don,
I don't know much about SEO but the advise by Terry seems pretty good, just let things come natural and take it easy. |

Don,
no, the content in the iFrame won't be indexed as part of your homepage. As for the rest of your issue... very often there is no quick fix for rankings. Develop your content, structure it correctly in a logical hierarchy, link to it with correct (se friendly links). Try getting deep links from time to time to your most important pages. Blog and link from the blog to your most important pages as well. Don't spend too much time watching your search results - we were jumping back'n'forth from #5 to #2, then 5, then 3, 4... this weekend 3 and now 4 again (for the Phoenix Real Estate phrase). In today's world I'm paranoid enough, I don't want to be watching our rankings, backlinks etc.etc.etc. every hour and be paranoind about that as well ![]()
