I am going to add my site to the directory but I have a question. I see some people have just their name and company while others have "city" real estate. Is it OK to submit it with "city" real estate? Let me know so I can submit properly. Thanks.

Hi Mike,

Well, there's been a rummor for whilie now that quality directories should not allow registrants to suggest their own titles and descriptions. Directories that manually review their submissions should name and describe the sites. Of course, I can not do this on my own - it take quite a bit of time just to go and see if the sites are not spammy.

There were a few hits on dirctories and I started making changes. The titles and descriptions are too spammy. Since I started to require company name and agents names - I generate their link titles as Company Name + Agent Name. It does make sence, but I aslo know about the power of anchor text... I'm gradually moving all my listing to the new way of anchor text, just to be on the safe side. So, if you see anchor text with city names - those are old ones and haven't been updated yet.

I haven't desided what anchor text I will be using on the new platform. But, having your business data will give me flexibility to change it to whatever will be better and benefit all of us. Right now it is Company Name + Agent Name.

I'm also thinking about future possibility of City Name Real Estate by Agent Name and below Company Name in plain text and then the rest of the info. But I need to do a little research on this one.

Just stick to the program right now.

You can add city name. It is useful to you as well as to others.
