I believe Microsoft gave a deadline to Yahoo to accept its buyout bid. April 26, 2008 is the moment of truth I believe. Any thoughts?

Yahoo is trying too hard not to get sold out to MS - that's the main reason they started partnering with Google again.

The partnering move with Google may also be a ploy to drive up MS offer. I believe there is a 3-4 month period prior to the partnering going into effect along with a payout to Google if the partnering doesn't happen. With MS desire to obtain a larger portion of search they may well raise the offer to some stupid amount. The other factor to be taken into account is what exactly Carl Ichon is going to do with his Yahoo shares. How firmly does he want a MS-Yahoo deal?

question is - does the MS - Yahoo deal enable Icahn to get his little fingers into the bigger pie of MS?
