This is a great family home with 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, grand "open" floor plan, 2 car detached garage with pool, hot tub, and a Pool House complete with its own full bath and kitchenette located in a quiet neighborhood in Northridge, CA. 

Baldwin Hills is a bit of s "jaunt" for my Company, but we have Staged many homes for this developer and they called in the proverbial "favor".  This lovely Baldwin Hills home was originally a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath, after the remodel it it now a full 3 bedroom, 2 bath and ready to SELL!

My Company was recently contacted by gentleman who was in desperate need of setting up a new new home for himself and his 2 young daughters.

There it was..... staring at us like it was taunting us....  a banana-yellow, velvet sofa....

Yet, somehow..... some way.... we needed to "make it work".

This was a very different project then the typical Interior Design or Re-Design challenge.  This was designing a VERY small room (only 8' x 10') into a functional, organized, calm sound studio for a nationally syndicated radio host who works out of her home.  Sound quality, acoustics, projection, equipment, wiring, lighting.... as well as a space that Guests could come in to record interviews had to ALL be implemented into this tiny 8' x 10' space.

Perfectly put.  Although this was written by a Fellow Home Stager in FL, it rings true in ANY market.  Yes, even here in Los Angeles and ventura Counties.

This is Part 2 of 3 of this Westlake Village Bathroom Remodel.  Part 1 was, "We Love the Demolition Phase" which showed the initial process that change and progress were about to be made not only in the home, but in the lives of the Home Owners.

Some Interior Designs or Home Stagers will literally start a design plan "from the rug up".  An area rug anchors a room, defines living spaces and how they are used as well as sets the mood or feeling of the lifestyle to be enjoyed in the space.  This is a great example of how a RUG can completely change the entire feeling of a room.

Sometimes Home Owners when preparing their Los Angeles home for sale get overwhelmed by the daunting task of "packing", "decluttering", "de-personalizing" and cleaning their homes that they hit a mental brick wall: and STOP.  Then it seems like such a monumental task that they paralyze themselves at the very thought of even selling their home.
