During the height of mortgage lending lots of mortgage banks and brokers heavily advertised “No Money Down” loans. People were lured in by the idea of simply signing a few documents and walking into a new home. Now that lending requirements have tightened and more people are being scrutinized before a mortgage approval there is a prevailing belief that home mortgages without a down payment no longer exist. However, that is just one myth negatively affecting the current housing market.
